Noa Noa is facing forced dissolution.

Danish financial media have reported that the prominent clothing chain Noa Noa is set to enter compulsory dissolution on August 21, 2024, following its failure to timely submit the 2023 financial report. Despite efforts by its parent company, Nordic Fashion Brands, to overturn this decision, the Danish Business Administration denied the request, citing the late submission of accounting records over the past two years.

In response, Chairman Nick Jensen has initiated a restructuring plan aimed at averting complete dissolution. This plan seeks to enable the company to operate under a new commercial registration number while preserving the original brand and organizational structure.

Founded in 1981, Nordic Fashion Brands encompasses four brands, including Noa Noa, Noa Noa Miniature, Unmade Copenhagen, and Odd Molly. The company is currently facing financial challenges, attributed to losses and a decline in revenue in recent years.
