Adidas and PUMA sue SHEIN for selling its brands at very low prices without permission.

Without any permission from Adidas and PUMA, China e-commerce platform SHEIN sold these two companies products at very low price. As a result, both companies strongly criticized SHEIN and are considering taking corresponding legal steps.

Customer can find Adidas Samba shoes on the SHEIN platform, but the price is much lower than Adidas own online store. The spokesperson from Adidas stated that Adidas itself does not engage in sales activities on the SHEIN platform.

According to the reports, SHEIN has become the worlds largest clothing sales platform. In the past year, SHEIN`s sales reached 29 billion euros, surpassing clothing retail giant H&M.

It is believed that such situation happened due to backlog of some authorized retailers. Cooperative dealers reselling overstocked products at low prices are long term problem for brand manufacturers. PUMA Spokeswoman emphasized that if trading venues and platforms do not adopt a cooperative attitude and are unwilling to take the initiative to remove unauthorized products, they will take legal action.
