PVH Group boycotts Xinjiang cotton and China launches investigation to counterattack.

China government announced that it has launched an Unreliable Entity List investigation into the US PVH Group, requiring the group to explain within a deadline whether it has taken discriminatory measures against Xinjiang products for the past three years. Such action taking by China government due to the foreign groups boycott of Xinjiang cotton has seriously damaged Chinese enterprises, as well as endangering Chinas sovereignty, security and development.

PVH Group owns well-known best selling brands such as Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger etc., if they are being put into the list of unreliable entity by China government, PVH Group will be prohibited from engaging in import and export activities related to China.

The Safety and Control Bureau of the Ministry of mainland China said that recently there are relevant agencies have reported to the Unreliable Entity list department that the U.S. PVH Group is suspected of violating normal market transaction principles and boycotting Xinjiang cotton for no reason without any factual basis products, which seriously damaging the legitimate right and interests of relevant Chinese enterprises.
